(June 8th, 2023) - Super Late Model Series and Oyster Bed Speedway management groups are thrilled to be introducing event sponsors for another upcoming SLMS event. Two businesses who will be very well recognized by long-time motorsports enthusiasts are teaming up to be presenting sponsors of the upcoming race on Saturday June 17th. Marking round two of the 2023 season, the Chapman Bros. 150 presented by Hynes Paving will be a stellar event fans won’t want to miss!

Construction and Hynes Paving as event sponsors for the first Super Late Model Series race at Oyster Bed Speedway! We are pleased to have them as partners for such a historic race. It’s just over a week away, so make plans now to be at Oyster Bed Speedway on June 17th.”
Since beginning in 1965, Chapman Brothers Construction has grown into a respected and recognizable company in Atlantic Canada, that has been part of many big projects in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Formed by Cyril and Buddy Chapman, Cyril and his four sons continue to operate the company to this day.

The Chapman Bros. 150 presented by Hynes Paving at Oyster Bed Speedway will be contested Saturday June 17th with a 6pm start time. In addition to the 150-lap battle from the superstars of the Super Late Model Series, fans will be treated to action from the Central Engine Services Street Stock, Moore Well Drilling Outlaw, and Chris’s Bobcat Services Mini Stock divisions.
Ryan Messer (#1) scored the win in round one at the Riverview Ford Season Opener at Speedway 660 on May 14th and leads the point standings. After a rain out, the Chapman Bro’s 150 presented by Hynes Paving will now serve as round two when the green flag flies on June 17th.
The rest of the 2023 calendar sees the re-scheduled Fog City Auto Spa 150 at Petty International Raceway on Saturday July 8th followed by the Universal Truck and Trailer 150 on Saturday August 5th for a return trip to Oyster Bed Speedway. Rounds five and six will complete the season at Speedway 660 on August 19th and Petty International Raceway on September 30th respectively.
